Conclusion

  • I was able to pinpoint specific problems that can be encountered in the game with UX Research and solve them by providing design & visual solutions with UX & UI Design.
  • Ideas were presented in a more organized way from player journey to prototyping which helps me explain my solutions better.
  • I created UI art assets that not only looks visually appealing & cohesive with other elements in the game, it also improved the player's experience.

What I Learned

  • This was a great exercise for me to do more projects related to UX Research in games.
  • I learned how to make user journey maps in a different perspective, putting the persona's overall emotion per step.
  • It's also nice to explore new UI art styles that I've never done before, specifically this one with a combination of pixel art and modern vector art.
